About Katey

Our relationship is the work

At the heart of my practice is a simple but pretty profound belief: how we connect in the room is what matters most.

I work with a relational approach, which means I show up as a real person in the room with you; curious, engaged and honest.

I am a straight-talking therapist who will offer a steady reflection of what I see and feel in our work together.

Our sessions are not about "applying a method" to you, but about a real connection between two individuals.

Within this honest, steady relationship, we work together to explore, uncover and undo what might be holding you back, creating the capacity for you to heal, learn and finally take up your own space.

A life of transitions

My path to becoming a therapist was built through a lifetime of navigating high-pressure environments, transitions and personal recovery.

Before moving into psychotherapy, my career spanned the corporate world, from marketing roles and Brand Management for a global skincare company to fifteen years running my own interior design business.

I understand the exhaustion of maintaining an outward image, whether for a brand, a home, or a life, while feeling the intense pressure to succeed and the quiet fear of “failing".

I have lived experience.

Having navigated my own struggles I know firsthand what it takes to move from shrinking yourself to believing you deserve to take up space.

My life has been defined by change; I have lived abroad, navigated many personal moves and experienced the profound reality of loving and losing.

Today, my life is grounded in simpler, more vital things: being a mother, running my practice and the steady, uncomplicated presence of my beautiful black Labrador.

I bring all of this, along with my warmth, my experience and my focus on our connection into the room with you.
