Working with Katey
In a world full of demands, finding space to unpick your thoughts and make sense of how you feel isn’t a luxury, it’s essential.
Whether you are navigating the profound weight of grief, bereavement and loss (including the complex pain of bereavement by suicide), finding yourself muted by a lack of confidence and low self-esteem, or processing specific women's issues, it isn’t self-indulgent to stop performing for a moment. It’s how you find the capacity to show up for yourself, as well as for the people and the life you care about.
Investing in your own headspace isn’t just for right now. It’s about building a solid foundation for your future.

As equals
I am a qualified therapist with an Advanced Diploma in Integrative Counselling & Psychotherapy. This means I don’t believe in a "one size fits all" approach; instead, I draw on different therapeutic tools to suit what you actually need.
My practice is relational and humanistic. In plain English, that means I see you as a whole person, not a set of symptoms. I’m not here to sit in silence and nod; I’m here to build a real, honest connection with you. We work together as equals, creating a steady environment where you can explore your thoughts and feelings without judgement.

Take ownership
At the heart of my work is helping you learn how to take up more space. So many of us are used to making ourselves "smaller" - editing our words, managing our emotions for others, or feeling like we have to perform. Whether we are unpicking long-standing patterns or finding practical ways to handle the noise of daily life, my goal is to help you feel more solid in yourself and take ownership of your own life again.

What matters most
I work on both a short an long-term basis, depending on your needs. We will have regular reviews together to check in on our progress and how you feel the sessions are going, ensuring the work remains focused on what matters most to you.
