Therapy is an option for you too
In the UK, only about 1/3 of people who go to therapy are men. That isn’t because men don’t experience stress or burnout, it's usually because of the common misconception that you have to be in crisis to get help or know exactly how to articulate your emotions.
Neither is true.
Therapy isn't about diagnosing you; it's about making sense of things. It is a practical, confidential space to drop the pressure of having it all sorted out and deal with whatever is weighing you down.
Bottling things up can work for a while...
...but eventually that strain starts showing up in very literal, physical ways.
You might notice:
- Physical tension, headaches or unexplained pain
- Feeling entirely flat, unmotivated or burnt out by work
- You are over-working just to avoid dealing with stress at home
Say exactly what's on your mind...
...in a private, safe space, and we won't just talk about feelings for the sake of it.
Our focus will be on working together to look at what is driving the pressure right now, while also looking at what might be behind it all - the underlying causes.
Together, we look to identify habits and patterns that are keeping you stuck and map out a more manageable way forward.
